Become The Light Of Christ

Freedom of religion means that we have a right to worship and that this human right should not be taken away from anyone.  In a democratic society, a person should be able to enter their place of worship and worship in peace without any kind of disruption.

As many already know, there has been a series of disruptions in many Catholic Churches in Vegas.  Fundamentalist Protestants have entered the Catholic Church DURING  Mass to distribute pamphlets to members.  Of course, this is a disruption of the Mass and a violation of our constitutional right of religious worship.

I said earlier in one of my posts that the Laity Forward Movement is not very far from doing this.  They have already violated the rules of free expression by distributing pamphlets on Church grounds without the permission of the parish priest. Now, the jungle is encouraging LFM to enter inside the Church and hold a silent protest DURING Mass, which is a clear violation of our constitutional right of religious worship.  According to Tim Rohr:

I have edited the following comment as the last part was not needed. The main suggestion is good:

Excellent work of the Laity Forward Movement.
I also suggest another medium.
During the homily of NCW Presbyters/ Archbishop
silently stand up one by one remain standing throughout homily.
This is a silent public protest which is now well called for.
The Holy Father encourages Laity Forward to go out into your
parishes and make a mess where it is needed. Guam is in a mess
messed up by a cult of evil dangerous individuals. The army of the
laity need to now go out create a mess in opposition to the already
existing mess. " tickle ears of their bishop" I don't know about that.
For sure for sure Apuron needs (edited) Bye.

Desperate men do desperate things that the lines between right and wrong becomes so blurred, they no longer care about human rights and dignity. LFM has already violated the rules of free expression by protesting on church grounds without the permission of the parish priest.  They have already attempted to instigate a riot by distributing their pamphlets filled with hateful comments about Father Adrian, Father Pius, the Archbishop, and so on. Fortunately, the parishioners have remained calm and did not give in to their human emotions.  Now, they are attempting to deprive Catholics of their right to worship by bringing their protest into the Mass. Their fight against what they perceived an injustice has become an injustice in itself.  As Martin Luther King Jr. stated:  "Darkness cannot drive out darkness.  Only light can do that."

So, brothers and sisters, be prepared to be the light of Christ for only the light can drive out darkness.  Let them hold their silent protests.  As long as we have the light of Christ in us, what can disturb us?

  1. As further actions are expected from the Laity Forward Movement (LFM) on Guam, it might be useful to recall some facts. Any religious group has the constitutional freedom of exercising their liturgical practices as long as these practices are not violating federal law. Therefore any attempt to restrict this freedom is anti-constitutional and requires law enforcement intervention.

Tim Rohr is the same person who publicly rejected my call, I made to him at the Agat CCoG meeting last year, to restrict his vociferously vulgar language and vocabulary when he talks about internal faith groups in the Catholic Church. I called him to stop spreading hearsay, gossip and superstition about the Neocatechumenal Way that he also refused. His blog is completely devoted now to hearsay, gossip and superstition in order to incite hatred, rebellion even uprisal against lawful church authorities.

Now, when the LFM is quoting from Tim Rohr's blog on its flier and demonstrates the vociferous and blatant lies that he publishes there every single day, Tim Rohr is getting the cold feet and distances himself from any LFM action. While just a day ago he openly bragged about the flier distributed by the activists, publishing a link to an online copy, by today he removed all links and hid the online flier from any public view!

Why did he do that? Well, it is very clear. He realized the criminal nature of LFM activism. He even made a lame attempt to say that LFM activists did not truly read the content of their own flier they were distributing. What a ridiculous claim! Tim Rohr obviously thinks everybody is fool all around, only he is the helicopter. Ha-ha-ha.

The fact is that the vile language on the flier distributed my LFM at our churches is a direct consequence of Tim Rohr's unrestricted vocabulary that he allows to himself and to his commenters at his blog. The incriminated quote on the flier is taken word by word from the blog!

Now, that Tim Rohr is distancing himself from the criminal activity that he incited, there is a clear message: anyone involved in lawless activity who will be caught by law enforcement officials at church property will be on her/his own! Tim Rohr won't be there to save anyone. He will have his popcorn and favorite tv screen in front of him, but won't give a hoot to the plight of the protesters who will face disciplinary action.

It is Tim Rohr's modus operandi and he obviously feels extremely good about it! He will wash his hands and smile to the media while the pawns in his cruel game who do the dirty job for him will face the consequences. C' est la vie. Tell me that Tim Rohr is not an exceedingly shrewd guy! Yuck!

    1. Dear Zoltan,

I wonder if LFM is suddenly aware that they can be sued for slander or defamation of character. Despite that the comment came from Frenchie, which was published in the jungle, the LFM endorsed the comment as their own by placing their name on it. The fliers they distributed out also listed the jungle blog, the thoughtful Catholic blog, CCOG, and the talk show of Patty Arroyo and Jesse Lujan. I wonder if Patty Arroyo and Jesse Lujan were aware that their names were on the fliers?

    2. Dear Diana, I am afraid, LFM members are not aware of the possible legal consequences of anything they do. They were fooled into starting this very questionable activity and then suddenly they were abandoned. Tim Rohr abruptly panicked and disassociated himself from them and their flier of criminal content!

I assume LFM activists did not expect this from the same person who incited their emotions with false expectations and when they followed his suggestions, he let them down in trouble. But this is exactly the essence of Junglewatch: provoking violence/ violation of the law of decency and when it happens, they wash their hands as if they are innocent.

I am sure whatever LFM is planning to do this Sunday in Barrigada, there will be watchful eyes paying close attention to their dubious activity.

    4. Dear Zoltan,

As a result of the hateful things published on the LFM fliers, they have lost some of their members. On this island, people never liked "dirty politics" or "mud-slinging". The LFM pamphlets is nothing but "mud-slinging." They are only shooting themselves in the foot.

    5. Yep. One of the junglefolks realize that the fliers they were passing out is just a smear mud-slinging campaign rather than giving out information type of thing. If this person can recognize that and be turned off by it, many others are lining up behind him/her and don't want to be associated with LFM, CCOG, or the jungle. From Junglewatch:

From Diana's new blog 'Responding to the anonymous priest...was the LFM literature she listed on her blog true or is it trying to instigate a riot amongst its follows?

That is correct. The key here is a duty to make known with reverence, which is not the same as disobedience. However, you are incorrect when you stated that LFM have acted "respectfully." These are the words you will find in the fliers that LFM have illegally distributed out to parishioners:

Are you willing to stand up? Or would you just like to find out the juicy details of Adrian's sick and pathetic little life
Even some of the worse priest you ever met would be looked upon favorable if you had to compare them to Adrian, ethically, philosophically, humanly, or just plain commonly as a priest. Not only the man lacks any moral fiber of any kind, but he obviously suffers from psychological issues that would require prolonged professional supervision, for him to function in any traditional environment.

  2. I was the anonymous @January 21, 2016 at 11:26 PM. Tim did respond to my inquiry and no, this action from LFM did not change my outlook on the division caused by the NCW.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 12:03 pm,

Perhaps, but subconsciously deep down inside, your conscious already recognize that what was printed on the LFM flier is nothing but mud-slinging and a provocation to a riot between Catholics. There are many people who are intelligent enough to see that, and that alone can change their outlook on the division.

    2. For our overseas friends.
May we ask exactly what LFM published on their flier?

    3. Dear Eve Parker,

I am not going to publish the entire flier on my blog due to its false and malicious nature. However, you can find a sample of it in the following weblink as I responded to an anonymous priest:

Read flier. Malicious contents. LFM please apologize to those who were maliciously hurt.

  3. He's Diana I learnt parkshones are taking this request of standing up during homily seriously.
I'm not sure who posted this comment. Whoever it was seems to have told a number of parishioners who plan to follow this order. They plan to stand up during homily to protest against NCW. Trying to find out who gave this idea to LFM.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 9:39 pm,

I find it ironic that for the jungle who always emphasize the dignity of the Mass, they now plan to desecrate the Mass themselves. After almost three years of no accomplishment, their desperation have turned them into the desecration of the Mass that they profess to love.

    2. While some people here in Guam do not like the Neocatechumenal Way (only God knows why!), the Pope keeps reaffirming its validity for the Church of today.
This Thursday, the Pope speaking to the Roman Rota (which is the highest appellate tribunal of the Roman Catholic Church) insisted of the need to reassert the new (neo) catechumenate! There is greater reason today, he said, for all the structures of the Church to work toward an “appropriate preparation for marriage, in a sort of new catechumenate — I stress this: in a sort of new catechumenate — so desired by some Synodal Fathers.”

Twice he repeated the word “new catechumenate”. Very interesting.

  4. Dear sisters and brothers, this morning the words of Jesus woke me up telling me this:

“Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For behold, the days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck!’ 30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us’; and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ 31 For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?” (Luke 23:28-31)

The same message goes to the activists of CCoG and LFM who weep crocodile tears over how many sinful people are joining the Neocatechumenal Way. Well, they don't know that our communities are places where the Lord Jesus manifests his great mercy and converts the hearts. We experience his presence among us in these communities.

However, in those hearts that harbor hatred, arrogance, violence and all kinds of animosity against their sisters and brothers, the Lord is not present. Dear CCoG and LFM activists, please, do not weep for us. Weep for yourselves. Do you need the words of Jesus printed on a flier and handed out for you so that you may read it?
