Benedict XVI approves celebrations of NCW

Below is a video from Rome Report on the Neocatechumenal Way at the time the Statutes was approved.  There are many videos and websites of the Neocatechumenal Way, but the best way to experience it first-hand is to either attend the Eucharist or the catechesis.  Then they can judge for themselves if the Way is for them or not.  The Way is not a movement, but an itinerary of Christian initiation in which one can grow in faith and live out their baptism...to be born of water and spirit.   To be born of water and spirit means to be baptized, and to be baptized means to imitate Christ because we are clothed with Christ (Romans 6:3-6 and Galatians 3:27), and to do the work that Christ told us to do......to go out and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).

  1. This came from ROME REPORT not Zenit as the Jungle Watch claim pro Neocatechumenal Way. I don't care it's been sealed and stamp.

Yes, Rome Report states that the liturgies of the ceremonies for the Christian initiation of the Neocatechumenal Way was approved by the Vatican.

  2. Dear Diane,
Here is yet another "old" alleged approval of the NCW Mass. This alleged approval has long ago been debunked.
Missing from Rome's Report of January 2012 was Pope Benedict XVI reference to him granting "approval to those celebrations contained in the Catechetical Directory of the NCW which are not, by their nature, already regulated by the liturgical books of the Church." Mass IS regulated by liturgical books; therefore, the NCW Mass is STILL NOT APPROVED with all its additions and deletions. Let us pray for the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to correctly guide us all.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 5:26 a.m.,

I have been telling you that the liturgy in the Way has been approved. Apparently, you forget that in the Catholic faith, something that has been practiced for a very long time does not need approval other than what the Vatican told us to change. So, when kneeling was not mentioned, it is because that is not a problem. The only things put in Cardinal Arinze's letter are the ones they want change. When they say to follow the liturgical norms in the GIRM, they are referring to the way we receive the Body of Christ.

Do not worry, in time, you will find out that the way we celebrate is correct.

    2. Dear Diane,
The NCW Mass is not celebrated correctly - there is NO individual recognitio for the many additions and deletions.
I wish the members would see what the many saints and popes say about "kneeling."
Google: "flowave - the proper posture for adoration at Mass"
As per the NCW's interpretation of "standing to receive our Lord" ----Sorry that is not what the Pope meant - therefore, it has to this day not been corrected. Standing to receive - means consuming the Eucharist immediately.

    3. Dear Anonymous at 1:34 pm,

We are already following what the Pope wants us to do. As I said in time, you will find out that how we celebrate the Eucharist is correct.
