Canonical Trial ExIsts

In his blog, Tim Rohr stated that there was no canonical trial.  According to Tim Rohr:

He's in the area. I have "hard copy" evidence. He's not in Rome defending himself at his canonical trial because there's isn't one.

In today's Pacific Daily News, the Vatican has confirmed that the canonical trial is ongoing.  The PDN further stated:
Attorney Michael Pfau, a leading Washington State-based lawyer who has Attorney Michael Pfau, a leading Washington State-based lawyer who has represented hundreds of clergy abuse survivors in multiple states, said the Guam situation is “unique” because its own archbishop is the one accused of abuse.
“Most cases involve a bishop accused of covering up the abuse of his priests,” said Pfau, who also handled cases involving abuse by the bishop’s close advisers.
Pfau has been working with the Guam-based law office of Dooley Roberts Fowler & Visosky LLP on clergy abuse cases.
The Holy See Press Office at the Vatican confirmed that Apuron’s canonical trial is ongoing. However, the office said it cannot release other information until after the trial is over, and referred further questions about the trial to the local archdiocese, the Archdiocese of Agana.
We do not know how long the canonical trial will be.  Archbishop Byrnes says that the trial is already in its second phase, but we do not know how many phases there are.  However, the good news so far is that the canonical trial is taking place at a slow pace. This indicates that the judges are looking into everything.  Another good news is that there was no penalty imposed on Archbishop Apuron. Let us continue to pray for Archbishop Apuron.

  1. Let's pray that when brother tony is found guilty, the victims will finally begin their healing process for the massive cover ups within this archdiocese. Anyone who is innocent wouldn't immediately run and hide like the way brother tony did. But soon, it'll all come to an end and the TRUTH will prevail.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 10:12 pm,

And if he is found not guilty, what will you do?

    2. He will be found guilty unless Rome decides to cover up and hide him. Even archbishop Byrnes joined in the protests. So that in itself showed a lot.

    3. Dear Anonymous at 11:17 pm,

Archbishop Byrnes did not join the protest. That is a false rumor being spread in the jungle....just like the false rumor that there is no canonical trial. Tim created the rumor that is no canonical trial. He is wrong. It is the jungle who spread false rumors and you fell for it.

    4. Some people like anon. 11:17 can't think for themselves. If Byrnes had joined the picket line, it would be in the photos of JW blog. Just look at what happened before. JW spread the false rumor that Apuron was hiding out at the Seminary, and a bunch of old ladies comes storming the seminary demanding to see Apuron. No common sense at all. Just believe everything that comes out of Rohr's mouth without questioning him.

    6. Go check out the photos on pdn. Lol. The archbishop was protesting too. It's online for the world to see. Lol. Wait, you gonna say it's photoshopped?

    7. Dear Anonymous at 4:25 am,

And you believe the anti-Catholic media? Was Archbishop Byrnes holding up any signs? That alone should have told you the truth.

    8. The photos are very clear, he was walking with the protesters. He wasn't standing next to or walking around them, he was in line with them. You cannot deny or pretend it didn't happen.

But why he did that is up to him to answer.

    9. Dear Anonymous at 6:55 am,

He was trying to get to his destination without causing any disruption to your peaceful protest. If he was truly protesting, he would be walking the line longer than "momentarily" and he would be holding up a sign.

    10. Diana, were you there to see what archbishop Byrnes did or are you just assuming again? What's funny is that the whole point is that THIS archbishop doesn't just hide like brother tony is doing. At least archbishop Byrnes walked with the protestors. And who says the neos are the true Catholics?

    11. Dear Anonymous at 9:15 am,

It was Archbishop Byrnes who said that the NCW is Catholic.

    12. Archbishop Byrnes enjoyed walking a few yards with the people there. He basically says everybody can walk here, so what?! Walking here or anywhere does not mean a thing! (smile)

    13. Dear Anonymous at 12:53 pm,

I agree. It is when he starts carrying a picket sign is when one can say he joined the protesters.

    14. Yes NCW is Catholic but not Roman Catholic.

    15. Dear Anonymous at 8:18 pm,

The fact that you recognize the NCW as Catholic is an improvement. Continue to improve. 😉

    16. It is quite enjoyable to read these blogs. The frustration of trying to rationalize with people who have no rationale (CCOG, JW followers). Reminds me of the situation in USA. The left liberal self imploding. Conservative media trying to rationalize with them, to no avail. Senseless responses filled with emotion yet no facts or logic.
One can only rest in God who is Lord of our history.
How condemning a man allows another man to heal is beyond me. If anything it would cause a wound that could never heal. The only true path to healing is peaceful reconciliation and forgiveness. A person does not heal till he is free of the hate in his heart.
As the gospel says - (Matthew 15:16-19)"*Can you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes through the stomach and is discharged into the sewer? *But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and it is these that make a man unclean. *For from the heart come evil intentions: murder, adultery, fornication, theft, perjury, slander. *These are the things that make a man unclean."
It means that it is what comes from inside oneself that causes the wound and creates puss and infections. Till oneself does not ask for forgiveness for the hate he holds and forgives for what has been done to him he will never heal. Therefor condemning another man is the exact opposite, and if anything it is a path to self condemnation. "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us". If one does not forgive, God will take into account our numerous sins and not forgive us. (self - condemnation) And since we are all sinners for (1 Jn 1:10) - "To say that we have never sinned is to call God a liar and to show that his word is not in us." Therefor we have all sinned, and not one of us has the right to condemn another man. If you seek to condemn another man you can not call yourself Roman Catholic and much less a follower of Christ.

    2. What is your evidence, anon 1:25 am? Are you a paid slanderer?

    3. Anonymous January 30, 2017 at 7:04 AM, please use the correct terminology, we were chosen to speak the truth to a divine and higher authority, so yes diana, I’m more merciful than God, because I can abrogate Justice itself.

Crimes against humanity are certain acts that are deliberately committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population or an identifiable part of a population, I take it children are not a part of humanity in the world you live in.

    5. I think your argument is lacking, anon 10:20 am. You are assuming and making accusations on thin air, based on personal opinion rather than on facts! What is your evidence that he is guilty? What is your interest in spreading unjustified and unverifiable gossip?

    1. Dear Anon 12:46 PM
I am praying that God forgives you. The only sin according to the Catholic Church that God can not forgive is pride, to assume the role of God arrogance, soberbia, hubris.
Christ has already taken upon himself the sins of all man, no matter the gravity, or to whom the sins have been committed. All a person needs is to ask for forgiveness to recognize that he is a sinner. A person can not ask Christ to extend his forgiveness if he believes he has no sin. As Christ says to the pharisees, "the problem is that you say that you can see therefor your sin remains, if you would recognize that you are blind powerful is God to forgive all". Christ has already forgiven all sins, we just need humility the opposite of hubris which is what a picketer has, because to accuse and condemn is hubris, to accuse and condemn a man without substantial facts is unjustifiable. The fact that you do not see this, is what makes you blind to your sin of hate. "A man who calls his brother stupid is already a murderer in God's eyes". This is worse than calling a brother stupid.
We must give Apuron the benefit of the doubt more so if you have any love for God and his church, because Apuron is a man who has been elected by God to officiate his position.
To say God might not forgive is pure hubris, it is a self-proclamation of being God.

To say he had crimes against humanity is untrue. What crimes do you mean? The children of the world who are they? comments are filled with words that make no sense to the reader.

    1. These accusations go back to 40 and 60 years. Who would be able to prove or disprove? Not even at court!
