Prepare For Rome

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Prepare for our trip to Rome in May.  The 50th anniversary of the NCW in Rome will be held on May 5, 2018 in Tor Vergata.  Pope Francis has received the invitation from Kiko Arguello, the founder of the NCW, to participate in the event of the 50th anniversary of the Neocatechumenal Way.  The entire NCW worldwide are invited.  So, Guam, get in touch with your Responsibles regarding the trip to Rome.  :-)

  2. Dear Diana, is there anything in Rome that you don't have on Guam? Why to go there? When you pray for the loving intersession of our Virgin Mother, she hears you wherever you are.

The love of Blessed Mary for her Son is the assurance that she also loves you! Why to go to the opposite end of the world to celebrate yourself? The Immaculate Conception is coming to visit you in your house, if you just open your heart for her sweet motherly love.

    3. Diana, why are you smiling? Think of your family, 2 or 3 kids, or even more? Are you taking them with you? You need health insurance in case they got sick. How many days? Only the round trip may last a week or so.

You don't go there to see the Pope. He is in the news and in the tv almost every day. He'll be a guest, an outsider among you. You'll celebrate yourself. You'll celebrate your own ability to pay for the trip that most people like us could not afford in a lifetime!

The Mother Mary does not call you to go anywhere, she comes to your house in prayer. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners!

That you could demonize such an important event is beyond me but just to rebut some of your false statements I would like to respond.
First of all, if you read any of the life of the Saints you would know that it is tradition to visit holy places and our holy father. Pilgrimages where a common practice among the faithful in which families and people from all walks of life would risk their own lives to meet Christ in either holy places or our holy father. For the NCW a meeting with the vicar of Christ is a meeting with Christ himself. If you don't see it this way then we should put you Catholicism into question.
Today we do not risk our life physically but we do risk it financially as many families will refinance their homes, take out loans and do fundraising activities just to be able to experience this meeting with the vicar of Christ.
As for the accusation that Pope Francis is an outsider to us, this is a very serious and divisive accusation that goes against Catholicism itself. I remind you that Catholic means universal, it calls all people, and to categorize the NCW as being outside the church when the prefect for the faith have confirmed the NCW's teachings in the catechetical directories as Catholic Tradition and dogma is to exclude yourself from the Holy Roman Catholic Church. That you disagree with its aesthetics is your prerogative, you do not have to like it, but you cannot go against the Vatican and it's decisions.
The NCW seems to understand this, as the experience I've had with them is that they are always extremely faithful and obedient to the Church the pope and the bishops. Like in many times of the Catholic Church, while many disobeyed the Pope, Christ elected holy people to remain faithful. This is a common pattern in both the history of salvation (God chooses Judae and preserves it) as it is in the Roman Catholic Church. The key to discern this is obedience and fruits.
Also the NCW is not a group, it is an education in Adult Faith that has been recognized by the Vatican as the experts in Adult Faith Education/ Formation.

    6. Dear anonym, you scare me a lot because of what I said. But I said it with care for you and for your family.

You tell me: "If you don't see it this way then we should put you Catholicism into question." You speak as if with authority. Who are you, dear? Do you have a pseudonym?

"Many families will refinance their homes, take out loans and do fundraising activities just to be able to experience this meeting with the vicar of Christ." Wow, that is a lot of financial risk and sacrifice! Wherever money decision is involved the devil may make you confused. Why do you do that? Why don't you invite Pope Francis to Guam, instead? Pray for loving intercession and guidance to the Holy Virgin to lead your life to safe pasture in her Son.

I did not know, heard or read anywhere that Pope Francis would be a neo. But now that you say it, the big picture is getting much clearer. You go to Rome to celebrate 50 years of neo. 50 years of neo is not the Vicar of Christ, but the movement of your faith group in the Catholic Church who allowed you to exist. You also celebrate your own money that buys you your meal, lodging, health insurance and ticket. Where am I wrong?

Your faithfulness and obedience is due to the Holy Mother who appeared to us 100 years ago in Fatima to save our souls. Ladies, who do you prefer to believe? To the loving voice of the Mother of God or to the yelling of an angry man?

We all believe in the mother of God. However we also believe in the trinity, God, father, son, and holy spirit. We have much devotion for Mary, but Mary's wishes are to bring us to her son Christ and to know God the father who was not a soft spoken nice God.
If you read the old testament he was God who punishes, who treats his people severely for not following the law. In Christ we meet his mercy and love. This is why Christianity is perfectly balanced because there is the law and punishment for those who refuse to acknowledge their own sins but there is mercy and love for those who acknowledge that they are sinners and lean on the Mercy of Christ. It is both the law and anger of the father and the mercy and love of the son. Those Catholics who recognize their sin thanks to the law and judgement of the father experience the love and mercy of the son. So much so that they realize that all material things are garbage compared to the treasure of Christ, and if that means going on a pilgrimage (puting God first above all material things) then they freely wish to do so to experience what they experience again and again. LOVE and Freedom of the sons of God
It is a shame that you do not love God so much to be willing to sacrifice anything. It only means you haven't really experienced how much Christ loves you. As the bible says speaking about the kingdom of God. It is like a man who finds the most valuable pearl, he goes home and sells everything he owns to purchase that pearl.
The difference is that you think religion and life are 2 separate things. Believe in God in case there is a heaven and do what you want in your life, while NCWs are called to live authentically and faithfully to the words that Christ has told us in the bible as well as the traditions of the Church. St. Francis got rid of everything he had to follow Christ to the point of being naked and the bishop had to use his cloak to cover him.
If the popes grants an audience for the anniversary of the way, (we are the way not kiko, not carmen, the fruits are the way as part of the Catholic Church) then we must follow the vicar of Christ as he celebrates the joy of what the NCW has allowed us to experience.

    9. Dear Joanne,
You are an insidious and evil person, you would take away from so many people the fact that God has rebuilt their families and lives and had encounters with God at a personal level by slandering something you don't understand. You do not know what the NCW is, you know what Rohr says about it which as a person who has been in the NCW for over 20 years and met all the people he lies about, I know it is all a defamation campaign for money and power. So how about you meet the people first with humility and as St. Paul says you will know them by their fruits.

    10. The Holy Virgin appeared to Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco at Fatima in 1917. Soon, St. Jacinta and St. Francisco would be taken up to heaven to celebrate with the Mother of God her Immaculate Conception.

It was Sister Lucia who revealed the secrets of the Immaculate Conception as the Holy Virgin explained it to them in apparition. Is this not a reason to celebrate?

Do you even know what is in the 3rd secret? I won't tell you, but you would be greatly shocked...! The whole world is engulfed in apostasy and the Tsar with his family was killed! Even suckling babies resting in the arms of their mother.

You now you are in apostasy when you shriek and jump to the tunes of the Mighty Leo who is Lucifer the evil one! So it is time to establish your devotion to the Holy Heart of the Virgin Mary who is the Immaculate Conception. Only this can save the world! How many among you are wearing the scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at all?

    12. Dear anonym, you do not celebrate Jesus, you celebrate your way. The two are not the same. Our Virgin Mother gave birth to Jesus. It was her choice of obedience. Jesus is there among us wherever 2-3 followers come together in His honor. You have to have faith to believe it. It is Him who said so.

    13. Dear Joanne, I am anon who wrote to you.
After reading your replies I have realized that you are not a reasonable person and it is pointless to debate you.
Please stop demonizing the people who have found God through the NCW which has been approved by all the popes since its birth. The NCW which was conceived and defend by the blessed mother who you seem to hold above God. I am devoted to her and pray the mysteries every day as the NCW teaches to do. However I also know she is not God. You cannot believe in Mary and disregard God which you seem to do. Catholicism is the whole package, Father son holy spirit and devotion to Mary the mother of God because through her the sinner can know Christ. But the ultimate goal is always to know Christ.
It was Pope SAINT John Paul II who pushed the NCW to create it's statutes and the Popes who continue to defend it against unfounded attacks. Again I wish you the best, but do not insult the faith of people who are willing to do as the Saints and follow Christ. You cannot serve to masters because you will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon (god of money).

      Delete
    14. And how, pray tell, do you know he doesn’t celebrate Jesus and instead celebrates the way? That statement reveals your intention. Wow! What a Pharisee attitude you have! You praise yourself not Jesus because you believe you know more than all the popes bishops cardinals, religious and lay people who either support or belong to a Neocatechumenal community.

You keep talking about mother Mary. Do you know what she did when she did not understand something? She stayed quiet. Do you know what she told lucia at Fatima? Obey your bishops and the pope. And the same she has said to every single visionary. If you were truly an imitator of mother Mary you would behave like her.

People had to walk on foot. They did not have round trip airfare ticket paid full by liquidity on their mortgage!

Again, this vacation is for the luxuriously rich living in Italy and in Europe who can take a single bus or train go get to Rome. They can afford to spend all their monies on themselves. But can you?! For one, I could not afford it to travel and risk the lives of my babies, for sure!

Pray to the Virgin Mother that she tells you who is giving you spiritual food? Is it coming from money? Is it coming from Mammon? Well, you all know you cannot serve both Mammon and God, because one is the mighty one on earth, but other one is the Mighty One in heaven!

Do you not see that you disprove your own statement. First you say that people should not risk finance to go to Rome and see the Pope and celebrate with the way. Then you say you cannot serve God and Mammon. Do you not see a conflict here. IF money is the issue that stops you from doing good things because it is what you need for your children to survive, then aren't you serving Mammon? Does this not mean you do not believe God provides, or is able to reimburse your sacrifice 100 fold. So in other words unless you serve Mammon enough, like rich people God doesn't allow you to do good things, like see the Pope in rome. It is only for people who serve Mammon more devotely and have been given more by Mammon.
This is what you don't understand about the NCW, no one has money, and yet they still do things because God ALWAYS gives 100 fold.
So because you do not believe God provides you have to give it a human explanation and assume leaders of the way have to be rich. This is apostasy if you study the definition. It is the sin that cannot be forgiven because it is against the holy spirit. It is a sin that doesn't allow God to act when you believe God does not have the power to provide.
I have 5 kids, and we are all going. I have been jobless for a year, and yet eat everyday and pay my bills on time. Either God provides or he doesn't. iF he doesn't it is because you are to afraid to allow him to provide, or because you do not ask. Or sometimes it isn't his will, that is the life of a Christian. As Christ says the new man is like the wind he does not know where he comes from or where he goes.

      Delete
    14. No, dear anonym. God provides and provided me the little means that would feed my babies and sustain my family. Why are you jumping on me and call me names? It would me who despises God's caring love for my babies if I would squander the Providence for fancy trips that you guys do every 2nd year, anyway, don't you?

When you liquidate your assets to get funds for spending, that is a sure sign of your concern for money. That is Mammon tricking you into spending and spending and spending, because spending is the demand of the secular world around you! So why are you accusing me? The secrets of our Lady of Fatima tells you otherwise. Your devotion should not be to spending, but toward her Immaculate Conception that is given freely as a holy Catholic dogma to everyone!

The 3rd secret of Fatima is telling you horrible images of the Great Apostasy that is taking place right now! Catholics are forgetting about the Queen of Heaven who has all the power as the Queen of 12 stars. People chase porn stars and sell out their faith for carved images. Why do you chastise me? Even Jesus' holy name is placed into abandonment.

Apostasy is creeping even under the very stones paving St Peter's Sq. in Vatican. Lucifer is recruiting among the clergy, bishops and even some popes. Is it I who make them corrupted in their faith? The Mighty Leo takes over the power of the secular world! Sister Lucia left us a message that will horrify true believers for centuries to come! This is very serious, folks. Why would not you turn to the protection of the Immaculate Conception who is only able to purge apostasy for her Son's Church and from the face of the earth?!

This should be your concern and not only having a good time dancing around in a holy place! By the way, did you know I don't even have a tv set? So tell me more about God providing for my kids, please.

      Delete
    15. Dear Joanne,

Mammon does not want us to spend. He wants us to save the money. Do you remember what Jesus said about the poor woman who gave everything she had? Jesus praised her for giving up the last 6 pence she had. That was all the money she had, and Christ praised her for giving it all up.

And do you remember the parable of the rich man who saved all that he has? God called him a fool because his life was taken that night.

Also, you stated: "Why would not you turn to the protection of the Immaculate Conception who is only able to purge apostasy for her Son's Church and from the face of the earth?!"

      Joanne, Mary is not God.

    16. Diana, the rich fool tells himself: "Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” He is spending his money on entertainment, enjoying himself from his material riches. He speaks the message of modern capitalism that is the secular order of the world.

The poor widow did not spent her last pennies on fancy travel or expensive airfare. She did not threw her money into the trash either. She gave it to God making sure nobody else would get it and use it for their personal purposes, only God himself! The Kingdom of Heaven is not made by extraprofit but by love and by devotion to the free gift of divine truth!

The heavenly order our Virgin Mary announced at Fatima is not made of capitalism! It is made of devotion to the Immaculate Conception that gave birth to God. She is the Queen of Twelve Stars holding the power that leads you in devotion, together with the whole of humankind, into her motherly Queenship that is the home of her beloved Son Jesus Christ!

    17. Dear Joanne,

You stated: "She gave it to God making sure nobody else would get it and use it for their personal purposes, only God himself!"

Since when did God needed money for Himself? The poor widow did not give any money to God. She gave it to the temple.

The poor widow gave everything she had. According to the Bible:

Luke 21:4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

As I said, Mary is not God. But she can lead you to God. Therefore, why not allow her to lead you to her Son so that her Son can exist in your life.

    18. Diana, please, be fair to Joanne! She has never said Mary was God! It appears only in your comments. She is a Marian devotee talking about the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparition in Portugal. That was a great miracle in the 20th century that re-defined Catholic life for many! Portuguese Catholics are extremely proud of our Lady of Fatima!

She is also right that the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic dogma, canonized by Pope Pius 9th in 1854. It is part of the teaching of the Great Catholic Magisterium.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ineffabilis_Deus#/media/File:Inmaculada_Concepci%C3%B3n_de_Aranjuez.jpg

We celebrate the dogma of Immaculate Conception on December 8th as a holy day of obligation every year.I think Joanne is pretty much correct in what she is saying.

    19. Dear Grow up in faith,

The fact that she gives Mary a lot power makes me wonder. She spoke about the protection of the immaculate conception and its power to purge apostasy from her Son’s Church. Since when did Mother Mary have sanctifying powers? It is God who has the power to sanctify and purge all kinds of sins. Then she speaks about God needing money. Let me guess.....God needs money, but Mother Mary does not? 🙄

In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world."

    21. Diana, again, please be fair. Nobody said God needs money. Did Joanne say that? God gives money from His infinitely rich treasury to whomever He wishes. Joanne talked about people taking away money from God for their own personal purpose. This is much different. Unfortunately, we have the experience of church monies going awry.

Joanne's reference to spending as the trap of Mammon in the modern world is well justified by the yearly rituals of a commercialized Christmas craze we had just seen not so long ago! I think her view of capitalism as secular and ungodly is right to the point!

    22. Dear Grow up in faith,

Be fair by reading Joanne's comments. This is what Joanne stated:

"She gave it to God making sure nobody else would get it and use it for their personal purposes, only God himself!"

She thinks that the poor widow gave the money to God so that God would use it himself. The truth is the poor widow gave it to the temple. God never had any need for money.

    23. Diana, the temple treasury belongs to God.

    24. Dear Joanne,

Where does it say that the treasury belongs to God? And why would God use this money for Himself as you claimed?

    25. Diana, are you angry with me? Please, you should not be. I did not say anything hurtful. I did not say Mary is God either! Pray to the Holy Mother, as I do all the time, that she intercedes for you at the Lord Jesus. All peace, even the peace in you soul, is coming from Jesus through the loving intercession of His mother.

The 2 pennies of the poor widow are her body and her soul. She is giving it all to God! The treasury of God is divine "money", not of your green dollar bills: it is the body and soul of the believer! God builds His Church on this treasury. Have a nice weekend, dear Diana.

41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.

43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything — all she had to live on.” (Mark 12)

After reading all your a comments a few things are obvious. You believe the virgin Mary has divine power which is a heresy. The virgin Mary interferes for us before her son who is GOD. Christ has divine power not Mary. Devotion to her is good but this distinction should be made.
Last of all a line spoken by Christ becomes obvious to me in this situation. You speak of things you have been taught we speak of things we know and have seen. It has not been taught. Diane is also right about money the money in the temple was used by the Pharisees for the temple and even themselves it was not giving to a magical godly bank. The same Pharisees who Christ constantly speaks against. Your comments remain poisonous in an attempt to smear the NCW your own biases and what people who speak against the NCW (who know nothing about it) have told you is showing through your very very subjective bias comments based on hearsay.

I am so sorry that you live in so much fear. Do you leave your house? Have you seen a doctor?

Have you read the letter the Hebrews? I highly recommend it. It describes your situation exactly. It says that Christ came to free those who were so scared of death that they were slaves to the lord of death, the devil.

You might need a postbaptismal catechumenate to get rid of that fear. We can help you. Ask mother Mary to help you not live in fear.

If however you like living in fear then please don’t preach that fear to me. My experience is that where Christ and mother Mary are there is not fear.
