Easier Said Than Done

The jungle and CCOG president David Sablan has come out and said that the people of Guam can rebuild their church even if it was closed down and sold. They said that it was the people who built the parish from the ground up, and they can do it again.  According to the Guam Daily Post:
While such a sum cannot be easily ascertained, Post files concerning the fate of former Guam priest Rev. Andrew Mannetta state that in January 2007, the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu reached an out-of-court settlement with Elton Killion, who accused Mannetta of sexually abusing him from 1997 to 2001 during a time that Killion was a minor. The church paid out $375,000.
While none of the current 13 suits are related or equivalent to Killion’s 2007 suit, if the $375,000 figure is used as a benchmark, then the Archdiocese of AgaƱa, as of now, could stand to lose upwards of $4.5 million and be forced to sell some of its more valuable, and contentious, properties to make those payments.
$4.5 million dollars is a lot of money, which the Archdiocese does not have on hand.  To obtain that amount, it would be forced to sell some of its properties.  As I said before, the parishes will most likely be the first ones to be closed down as it was done in the United States.   If it comes down to that, the parishioners will suffer, but they will not be able to rebuild a new parish.  Why?

Let us take for example, the Toto parish.  Since Father Mike Crisostomo also agreed with the junglefolks that the people can rebuild, let us use his parish as an example.  Toto parish is closed down and sold off.  Now, WHERE in Toto do you see another available land for sale that the parishioners of Toto can purchase and start rebuilding their parish?  The availability of such a property in the small village of Toto is nil.  The only ones who would benefit from the sale of the parish would most likely be real estate agents like Tim Rohr and the lawyers in the lawsuit.

    2. @ Anon. 10:09. Why not donate your 4 acres of property to the church now? I would rather have the church sell your property and leave our Toto parish alone.

  2. Diana plenty available land in ToTo to rebuild a church. Great service to Toto Parish to sell the church land. The parish could then raise a few million to purchase new land rebuild a decent church. I'm sure Fr.Mike would be happy to build a church for the future.
will you please stop frightening the people. you make no sense in your posts. They are baseless arguements you use to scare others off.
No one will sell a parish. Best to sell RMS first choice. We dont need RMs. period.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 10:21 pm,

I am simply quoting what the Guam Daily Post said. They quoted the figure $4.5 million dollars, and we know that money is certainly not going to come from the Catholic faithful who cannot even raise $300,000 for the Annual Archdiocesan Appeal. In fact, it is not even going to come from any of the pockets of the JungleWatch Nation who encourage their followers not to contribute a single penny to the Church.

And of course, we all know that the Archdiocese of Boston sold many of the parishes to pay of the sex abuse victims. As a matter of fact, the Archdiocese of Boston kept their seminary, and sold the parishes. That is reality.

    2. Diana 10:55 PM Guam Daily Post was also quoted by CNMI Lawyer in Junglewatch. Did you see it

      From the article:

[A]ccording to “The Norms of the motu proprio ‘Sacramentorum Sanctitatis Tutela’,” the 2001 letter by Pope John Paul II that amended the Code of Canon Law to include sexual abuse of a minor under 18 by a cleric among the new list of canonical crimes or “delicts” reserved to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, canon law stipulates a 10 year statute of limitations on cases involving child sexual abuse that begins from the year the victim turns 18.

This reference supports Tim's long-standing contention that the canonical trial of Archbishop Apuron is about more than his own alleged child sexual abuse in the 1970s or 1980s.

Looks like Apuron has been lying about the trial in Rome. The canonical trial CANNOT be about the sex abuse allegations because that statute of limitations ran out when Apuron's victims turned 28. What else could the trial be about?

    3. Diana; the faithful in Guam would rather see an institution that benefits the NCW sold before any of its parishes. The majority of seminarians at RMS were sent there by KIKO, not from the Guam faithful.

    4. Dear Anonymous at 7:41 am.

Correction. That institution benefits all the Catholics. Some of those priests are serving in the parishes while others benefit the universal Church by spreading the Gospel. Also, you do not speak for the majority of the faithful. You only speak for the few. Remember that we were able to collect more signatures to petition Governor Calvo to veto the bill.

    5. So you're saying it was the NEOs who had Archbishop Hon start the UNSUCCESSFUL petition for Governor Calvo to veto Bill 326 so that your Brother Tony would be able to avoid civil lawsuits for his molestation and raping of young.boys?
Remember also there were only a few CCOG & LFM members who prayed outside the office of Governor Calvo. They were there on behalf of Apuron's victims and prayed that the Governor would sign the bill. And he did.
You may have had the numbers Diana but CCOG & LFM have better intentions than you and your cult.

You like to make fun of the CCOG & LFM picketers because there are only a few out there. Just remember they started out with 3 goals:
      RESTORE the priests ✅
      RETURN the property ✅
      REMOVE Apuron

The only goal left for those old folks is REMOVE Apuron. Something tells me it will take longer since that takes action in the Vatican but I'm guessing they will be able to check that goal off sometime in 2017. They have the spiritual welfare of the archdiocese, their children, grandchildren and future generations to keep them going. They may be elderly and they may be physically disabled but they are SPIRITUALLY STRONG SOLDIERS OF CHRIST.

    9. Everything under Apuron has been reversed or revoked. Wonder why?

    10. Dear Anonymous at 8:48 am,

Yet, everything remains the same. RMS continues to operate as always. The NCW continues its celebration as always. Apuron continues to hold the title "Archbishop of Agana" despite that Archbishop Byrnes had authority. In time, we will know the result of the canonical trial. I would wait until the result first before you start bragging.

  3. Boy how can they sleep at night. Sablan himself is a crook.

  4. Ai @4:44pm. Why don't you wake up and smell the coffee? All the proof was exposed and that's the reason why the kikos have lost so much. The Holy Spirit is not sleeping. Not one shred of evidence has proven the kikos right. So as an outsider looking in, it seems as if the kikos were in fact dividing the church with the selfishness of trying to KEEP the RMS hotel for themselves. But no worries because in the end, the neos have shown their true selfish colors and that's why they have lost the respect of this island. That also showed their greed. The truth has come out which is why the kikos lost control of the RMS.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 9:34 pm,

What lies from us were exposed? Did we not say that only the Archbishop and his successor can remove the deed restriction. Archbishop Byrnes proved us correct. If the property belonged to RMS or the NCW, Archbishop Byrnes would never have been able to rescind the deed restriction.

Furthermore, what did the NCW lose? The RMS is still operational and their operations have not changed. The NCW still exists and are still doing what they have always been doing. We never stopped. We continued on.

    2. You don't seem to grasp the lies about Fr. Gofigan, Monsignor Benevente and the RMS hotel. Nothing would've been RESTORED if their names or the hotel was really true. It's just common sense ppl. The lies about those real priests wouldn't of been lifted if they were true. To top it off, they weren't transferred to other diocese, unlike Luis Camacho. Now there's where the church is responsible for hiding these pedophiles like Luis.

    3. Dear Anonymous at 3:44 pm,

We saw the evidence produced by Jackie Terlaje when she gave the records of the Catholic Cemeteries to the Attorney General, GPD, and the media. If anyone did any cover-up, it was Archbishop Hon. As for Father Luis, you have absolutely no evidence that he sexually molested anyone. There are no records and documents showing that. It was only a rumor created by the jungle.
