Trust In God

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Catholic Church on Guam,

Place your trust in God and in the Church in Rome, which is the seat of the Apostle Peter.  The Lord said, "You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church."  It was Rome who sent Archbishop Hon; therefore, place your trust in the Bishop sent by Rome.  Let your choice be on the side of Rome.

"Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude [of the people] also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church."  These words were written thousands of years ago by St. Ignatius of Antioch.  So, let us choose the SIDE of Archbishop Hon, whom Rome has sent.  It is clear that the Church built by Christ has sent Archbishop Hon; therefore, let us give our cooperation to Archbishop Hon and Father Nowak.  Archbishop Hon has already started reorganizing things in the Archdiocese of Agana.  Let us all seek peace through cooperation so that we can all be reconciled.

Do not place your trust on any man whom Rome has NOT sent. Do not place your hope and trust on any man who abandons you. Pope Francis sent a message to the people of Guam, telling us to give him our trust and prayers.  So, place your trust on Pope Francis, the Vicar of Christ, and who sent Archbishop Hon in his stead.  Place your trust on God, the head of the Catholic Church and who guides the hand of the Pope who sits on Earth as His representative.  Remember, God will never abandon us. He will always remain with us in times of joy and in times of troubles.

  1. So which is it: God spoke to Tim, as you said in your last post's comments section, or he abandoned people? You can't have it both ways.

Besides, just because he may not be doing the blogging anymore, that doesn't mean those who fight for justice for victims of abuse are giving up. Nor should they.

In other words, don't be a bad winner. You said of God speaking to Tim "God be praised." Now you gloat? It's not just unchristian, it's unbecoming, especially since Tim does what he does for the good of the Church, then and now, whether anyone believes that or not. You'll have plenty more days to say you were right about various things. How about a little decorum?

    1. Dear Glauconite Jr.

I was not gloating. I am trying to convince the brothers to choose the right path, which is to follow Archbishop Hon for he was sent by Rome. Also, it was Tim who SAID that God spoke to him. I never said He spoke to him. Perhaps, He did and perhaps He did not. Nevertheless, if He did spoke to him and got him to see the light, then all praise and glory to God.

However, as someone pointed out, Tim Rohr may have decided to stop what he has been doing, but it was not as a result of a change of heart because he urged his followers to continue doing the rest of the work on their own. The purpose of my post is to convince all Catholics especially Rohr's followers to follow Rome and the Bishop whom Pope Francis sent in his place. That is not gloating. That is trying to convince them to be in communion with Rome and with God.

    3. That's just it--we've been loyal to Rome all along. We never stopped. The trouble is that by being wary of wolves in sheep's clothing, you accuse us of breaking faith with Rome. Mind ALL the words of the Blessed Lord, not just a few.

    4. Dear Glauconite Jr.,

When you start to think that Rome would send you a wolf in sheep's clothing means that you did not place your trust in God and His Church. God guides His Church where He wants it to go because He is the Head of the Church.

    5. What I mean is that we cannot and should not confuse the Holy Father and his special link to Christ with the Curia which is notoriously corrupt, and has been for a very long time.

  2. Healing, reconciliation, unity takes time. With God, all things are possible. Let's put pride aside and recognize that we are all children of God. As children, at times we do stupid things. As children, we trust in the security of our parents. How much more, God as our Father loving and being merciful to us!

It appears so, but his attitude remains the same. Let us hope and pray that he comes around in communion with the Vatican.

    2. Gamaliel's Advice

33When Council members heard this, they were enraged and wanted to put the apostles to death. 34But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a short time.

35“Men of Israel,” he said, “consider carefully what you are about to do to these men. 36Some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men joined him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and drew away people after him. He too perished, and all his followers were scattered.

38So in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone. Let them go! For if their purpose or endeavor is of human origin, it will fail. 39But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God.”

40At this, they yielded to Gamaliel. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and released them.

41The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42Every day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

      thanks be to God

Whoever the administrator is, he is not giving any of his input, simply publishing news articles, interviews, and comments made by Frenchie and Chuck White.

  5. Yes, TR said he stopped. Yes, his attitude remains. You can see this by the way he ends the post.

AB Apuron abandoned his flock and that is why we no longer have hope and trust in him.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 5:22 pm,

He never abandoned the flock. The flock turned to another shepherd named Tim Rohr. Tim even told you not to trust the Vatican because he believes the Vatican was infiltrated by the NCW. If you cannot trust the Vatican, then who are you supposed to trust.........Tim Rohr??? That was where you were heading. Archbishop Apuron had always been telling you that he never gave away the RMS property, but some of the sheep did not listened because they chose to listened to another voice telling you the opposite.

    2. "If you cannot trust the Vatican, then who are you supposed to trust"

You trust in Christ and in his Father. You trust in the revelation of Christ seen in the life of the Church. It is true that the Vatican has been infiltrated by the NCW, and other lobbies and organisations. That is not a surprise.

The question is - do you resist evil or sdo you call it good?

    3. Dear Anonymous at 1:05 pm,

I never call evil "good." It is very easy to say that we trust God and follow His will only to find out that we have been following our will all along. As I said, Rome is not going to send a wolf in sheep's clothing. So, you either trust Archbishop Hon who was sent by Rome or you trust Tim Rohr who opposed Archbishop Hon. You cannot have both.

  7. According to TR:

(In the beginning) "I've always asked God to show me when to stop doing this. This morning he showed me. I'm done. I did my part."

(And then ends with) "Once it passes, it is then your job to make sure the governor signs it into law. Once it is law, Lujan can tear Apuron, Hon, Ted, David, Adrian, and the whole filthy lot to shreds. "

    Okay Tim. Okay.

    2. apologize for commenting off topic but Mr. Pesch provides a very sound explanation of the pending lawsuit in PDN.

Is it too simplistic to argue that one lie attributed to lujans clients is sufficient to prove that are indeed liar's?

    3. Sure, as long as you're sure it's a lie. Therein lies the problem. Leave it to Rome.

    4. thanks Mr. Glaucon; I believe that many if not all of us have told numerous lies so I myself would not be offended if someone called me a liar. Less we forget; the twelve apostles; the foundation of the church today were not exactly saints in the beginning. Saint Paul surely was not.

I believe that many of the so called Catholics on Guam have this perception that priest should be walking around with a golden halo on their heads. And they a further misperception that have reached a level of faith that justifies doing nothing else other than to go to church once a week; say the rosary....etc.

Well if we are so good...so holy...why do we need the church?

    5. leave it to Rome....so easy. Why don't we admit that we are all liars?

      Delete
    6. Although we have a strong feeling about who might be the liars in this story, let me say this: NOBODY of those charged in the lawsuit have ever called any of the four alleged sexual victims or their mothers a liar! Let me repeat: nobody ever have called them liars! If you claim any of them was called a liar, then you have the long and arduous task to produce the evidence. Lol!

All you have to do is to produce a written document or tape recording of a talk on behalf of the Archbishop or the Archdiocese calling any of these people a liar! If they were called liars then you must have the evidence, mustn't? Therefore all you have to do is to produce and present it! Lmao.
