Anti-Catholicism and Anti-Neoism

Anti-Catholicism and Anti-Neoism (my word) are the same except that they are written by different people.  Anti-Catholicism materials are written by Fundamentalist Protestants while Anti-Neoism materials are written by Catholics who are against fellow Catholics.  An example of Anti-Neoism is found in this weblink below which is also found in Junglewatch

http://www.internetica.it/neocatecumenali/english/blasphemous-use-holytrinity.htm

According to the Anti-neo article, it stated that Kiko took a painting of Rublev's Trinity and repainted to represent himself, Father Mario, and a young version of Carmen Hernandez.  This is actually false and their "interpretation" or should I say "misinpretation" of the truth.  The truth is found on this following weblink, which also shows many of Kiko's artwork.

Art and Beautiful Icons

All the anti-neoists did was copy and pasted Kiko's art and left out the part where it says that it's a repainting of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus, the Holy Family.  The painting is a true painting done by Kiko, but the anti-neoists put in their own version.  In other words, they misrepresent the truth to try and discredit the Neocatechumenal Way. The Fundamentalists Protestants do the same thing with Catholicism.  They print things that are half truths and half lies.

I also posted a comment on Tim Rohr's blogsite, calling his attention to the dishonesty of the article. He seems doubtful about the "Art and Beautiful Icon" website because as he puts it "came under pinterest under 'homecookin'".  My response to this is that one can believe the Art and Beautiful Icon website because it is an objective website.  It is neither anti-Catholic, anti-Protestant, anti-Christian, or anti-anything.  In other words, the website does not have an agenda.  It simply displays art and beautiful icons and what the painter says it represents.

As I posted in my last post, the Church teaches that the family is a reflection of the Holy Trinity just as marriage is a reflection of the marriage between Christ and His Church.  According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

CCC 2205  The Christian family is a communion of persons, a sign and image of the communion of the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit.  In the procreation and education of children it reflects the Father's work of creation.  It is called to partake of the prayer and sacrifice of Christ.  Daily prayer and the reading of the Word of God strengthen it in charity.  The Christian family has an evangelizing and missionary task.

  1. If Jungle Watch Theology is not loving people more then they should question their theology. Jesus Christ was crucified by Law. Left the Catholic Church and in this Charism made me come back.

    1. Dear Anonymous,
It appears that Junglewatch is pretty much Anti-Catholic, because they are already criticizing not only the Archbishop, but also priests of the Catholic Church. It will be a matter of time when they will criticize the Pope. Sanger Magister is anti-Neoist like JungleWatch, and he already criticized against the Pope.

    3. Dear Anonymous,

I was not aware that Tim Rohr had already criticize the Pope, but thank you for the information. As I said, I am not surprise. I saw Rohr's criticism of Father Neil, and Father Neil is the one who has a Ph.D in Liturgy. Father Neil is the expert in Liturgy because of his Ph.D. For someone who has absolutely no degree on Liturgy to come out and criticize a person with a doctorate in Liturgy is hypocritical. .

Mr. Tim Rohr questioned Father Neil when Father Neil compared the NCW to other "rites". Mr. Tim Rohr said that Father Neil should not compare the NCW to other "rites" because the NCW is not a rite.

Yet, according to the Statutes of the Neocatechumenal Way, which was approved by the Vatican, the footnotes found on page 21-22, stated the following:

"An itinerary of a catechumenal type, which follows all those phases which the catechumens in the early Church followed before receiving the sacrament of Baptism...(See Postbaptismal Catechumenate, in Notitiae 95-96, [1974], 229}" (John Paul II, Letter Ogniqualvolta, August 30, 1990:AAS 82 [1990] 1514}:

It is inspired by various documents of the Holy See, including:
      - chapter 4 of the RCIA {Part II:4 of the 1988 US edition] which suggests and adapted use of the catechesis and certain rites proper to the catechumenate for the conversion and maturation of faith even among baptized adults.

      - John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation Christifideles Laici, 61: "A help [ in the formation of Christians] may be given...through a post-baptismal Catechesis of a catechumenal kind, by means of re-propsong some elements of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, aimed at leading to the acceptance and living of the immense and extraordinary riches and responsibilities of one's Baptism";

    1. Dear Anonymous,
Sorry I won't be able to meet you in Hell. Most likely, I will be going to Heaven, but first I will be making a stop in Purgatory. At any rate, enjoy your time in Hell. :)
