The Fruits of the NCW

 Matthew 7:16-20 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. 

These are the fruits of the Way in Guam based on my experience. 

1.   The NCW in Guam has produced a seminary, which cost nothing from the people of Guam for the money was donated. Nevermind the fact that the seminary was sold. The seminary in Guam produced 17 priests.

2.   The NCW has produced many priests. These priests came from families walking in the Way.

3.   Members of the NCW who are walking are open to life by producing many children through birth or adoption. 

4.   The NCW has nurtured the vocations of the youth. 

5.   The NCW promotes pilgrimages to World Youth Day and other places such as Rome and Israel.

6.   The NCW evangelizes and spread the good news. 

7.   People's lives has changed. Although the people in my community, including myself, are far from perfect,  I have indeed seen the changes in them from when I first met them. The path to holiness is a long and arduous journey.

It is by their fruits that you shall know them.  If the members of the NCW have been fruitful, it is because they have been rightly led by the Holy Spirit who guide us and the NCW leaders who adhere to Catholic Doctrine.  Every good tree bears good fruits. A good tree cannot bear bad fruits, and vice versa. 

The teachings of the NCW mainly focuses on the family and the youth.  The teachings are aligned with the moral teachings of the Catholic Church on abortion and homosexuality.  Now, we are faced with transgenderism. The NCW holds true to the teaching that there are only two sexes: male and female.
