Dispelling A Rumor
It has been brought to my attention that a rumor was going around saying that the NCW in Guam is not celebrating the Eucharist. I do not know where this rumor came from. We are still having the Eucharist. It was the Redemptoris Mater Seminary that was shut down, not the Eucharist. The NCW continues to have the Eucharist inside the Church in front of a consecrated altar. Archbishop Byrnes had also instructed our catechists that we will consume the Body of Christ standing up. The NCW continues to follow those instructions. The NCW has not stopped its celebration of the Eucharist in Guam. My community still celebrates the Eucharist inside the church. We also continue to have the celebration of the word and the monthly conviviences. Our youth still participate in the monthly scrutacio as well. While it is true that the NCW is being persecuted here, the brothers in the communities are still continuing their walk.

ReplyDeleteRumor has it that the Vatican tribunal of Archbishop Apuron is over. But the canonical trial cannot be over! The Archbishop talked about his waiting for the verdict from Vatican in relation to his nephew's latest accusation. So how could the trial be over?!
ReplyDeleteThe verdict, however, is no doubt for anyone. Vatican wants to repel predators from the dioceses and make the parishes safe for the young. She must demonstrate that she means serious business! There is only one way to show this.
I am quite upset with this whole situation! Of course, where it is trouble, you suspect the neo at every corner. This blog is for neo apologetics mostly using comments from the anonym author! Internationals who don't know language, customs, culture also comment here. They can make frustrated judgments only on others who don't fall into their line. But who pays attention if this is heresy or not?
Nobody is sure who is who anymore and who is saying what! This business encourages those who hide their personality from others and secretly operate along the guidelines of the Mighty Leo, who is Lucifer the evil one.
Pray to the Holy Mother, who is the Queen of Heaven, that she intercedes for the lost sheep and for those who are deceived by Lucifer so that they may return to the flock of the faithful and do not abandon the Holy Mother Church!
