It irks me that our Bishop decided that these seminarians are not good for Guam. And other Bishops are finding them worthy and able to be priests in their dioceses... But who am I? I am a nobody.
Guam’s loss is another Diocese’ gain. The Archdiocese of Miami and other Dioceses can thank Archbishop Byrnes for rejecting all the RMS seminarians. Those who were rejected by Archbishop Byrnes are very happy. Many of RMS Guam who were rejected have reached priestly ordination. God’s calling of these men remains true.
Once our former RMS Guam seminarians become priests elsewhere, some may visit Guam in the future. Especially our homegrown Darren, Preston, Gabe, Ashton. I wonder if Bishop Byrnes will allow them to celebrate Mass here on their visit home to Guam. These visits may make him regret closing RMS Guam.
