My Response To Anonymous Poster

This post is in response to an anonymous poster whose comment can be found here.  His/Her comments are in red, while mine are in black.

Diana if Archbishop Apuron had simply stepped down temporarily last May (when Roy Quintanilla accused him) and ordered a local investigation to take place instead of running to the Pope I'm sure none of the others would have dared to come out.

Archbishop Apuron did much more than step down temporarily.  He removed himself entirely from the island.  Going through a local investigation would not be in his favor.  Why?  Archbishop Apuron believes that there was a local conspiracy to remove him from his position. Therefore, the possibility exists that his conspirators would manipulate the local investigation.  After all, look at all his accusers.  They all have a connection to Tim Rohr, the main accuser.

The jungle even has someone like Vincent Pereda who had more than 30 years of clinical experience as a professional counselor to say that Archbishop Apuron is a "serial child molester" based only on news reports and without interviewing any of the alleged victims. See Mr. Pereda's statement in news report here.  Mr. Vincent Pereda is also connected to Tim Rohr, Doris Concepcion and even Richard Untalan.  See the screenshot below of Vincent Pereda's facebook page below:

As you can see, all those who spoke out against Archbishop Apuron are all CONNECTED.  The only way for Archbishop Apuron to have a fair investigation and a fair trial would be outside of Guam.

Have you noticed that the jungle NEVER said that Father Louis Brouillard, who sexually molested more than 20 young boys, is the worst sex offender in Guam's history? Rather, they say that Archbishop Apuron is the most evil.  They condemned a man without due process of the law.....the same way Father MacRae was condemned by the media without due process of the law.

The investigation would find nothing since there was no evidence or witnesses. By leaving Guam he opened the door for the other accusations against him. It gave Tim Rohr and Bob Klitzke the chance to work on the bill to lift the statute of limitations. By leaving Guam and not sending any more video messages to his flock after Archbishop Hon was sent it looked like Apuron was in hiding. He could have contacted one of the stations with an exclusive video message assuring his flock that he is still working on his canonical trial. If he could have arranged a Skype interview with KUAM or PNC or both stations all the blogging would have no effect. Apuron could have maintained his innocence by staying in the public eye because the more people could see and hear him the more they would continue to believe in him.

But instead Apuron is in some secret hideaway. So that makes him look guilty. You've posted about Fr. Gordon MacRae who spent decades in prison maintaining his innocence. Fr. MacRae refused to cut a deal because he believes in his innocence even if he was unjustly accused. Apuron should come out of hiding. He doesn't have to return to the island until after his trial is over. But he has to come into the light and let his flock see and hear him.

Archbishop Apuron already came out and stated that he requested a canonical trial and is seeking to prove his innocence.  How many more times do you want him to say the same thing over and over and over and over?  Even when he came out to say this, he was still criticized and condemned by the Junglewatch nation.  If they did not believe him the first time he came out in public, then what makes you think they will believe him if he came out a second, third, or fourth time saying exactly the same thing?

Tell me....where did you get the idea that Archbishop Apuron was hiding?  You got this idea from the jungle and only from the jungle and nowhere else.  The jungle was the one who spread this rumor about Archbishop Apruon hiding just like they spread the rumor that Father Edivaldo was put on leave because he was drunk.  Did anyone ask Tim to produce the report of Father Edivaldo being drunk?  Did anyone ask Father Jeff to verify Tim's accusation?  Did Tim Rohr ever apologize for his error in stating that Father Edivaldo was placed on leave because he was reported drunk?

People like Archbishop Byrnes. They like his humility and the fact that he is approachable. They like his homilies. There are people who are starting to think that having a "white guy" as Archbishop of Guam isn't such a bad thing after all. Apuron needs to remind his flock that even though he's not on island he's still the real archbishop.

The fact that he has not come out to remind people that he is still the Archbishop of Agana actually shows Archbishop Apuron's humility.

  1. This is why I have reservations about HHP. JW has three of its people on the Board of Incorporators. Who is going to be in the other board? Dave Lujan believes that the alleged victims should have an input as to who should sit on the board. If the people of Guam is going to pay for HHP, I want to know that it's being spent properly for REAL victims and not for scammers out to defraud our church for money.

      Scam association Byrnes knows it.

  2. The reason I don't agree with hhp is because it just another attack on the church because it doesn't make the church be about god because because it only makes be about healthy when god didn't come for healthy people he came for the sinners

    2. Sinners can be healthy people. Why not? What is the connection? Louis Brouillard is 95 and healthy. He has very good health for a 95 year old. But he is a sinner, big time. Who would doubt that?

    3. This is silly. Who said sinners are sick people? Their sickness is not medical but spiritual. They are not healed in hospitals, but by exorcism. You have to send devil to his place to disarm his demons.

It says: In September of 1985 (AAS) Cardinal Ratzinger rescinded the permission for both laity and non-exorcist priests to proceed with any kind of exorcism, something which also applies to the recitation of the exorcism of Leo XIII.

It applies to those possessed. Ratzinger became a pope later as Benedict 16.

  3. All this connection to only one man, Tim Rohr, is very suspicious. It does sound like a conspiracy.

  4. HHP fails to be a responsible association. Main aim is to control spending of a budget. HHP should be independent of all organizations. It is not.

  5. Diana did you not watch the news or read the newspaper when Archbishop Apuron was "located" in California?

It was covered on 2/1/17 by KUAM:
    http://www.kuam.com/story/34395896/2017/02/Wednesday/archbishop-apuron-located-in-fairfield-california
It was also covered on 2/1/17 by Guam Daily Post:
    https://www.postguam.com/news/local/accusers-locate-apuron/article_0db7ea70-e797-11e6-b40c-9761692a5e47.html
There is even a YouTube video:

I didn't have to go to JW to learn that Archbishop Apuron was "located" in Fairfield California. The KUAM news report says "Cozied in a two-story home in the West Coast, you wouldn't recognize Apuron at first glance." Why is that? Apuron is one of the most recognizable faces from Guam. Why did the report say "you wouldn't recognize Apuron at first glance"?

The Guam Daily Post also reports that "While he faces multiple lawsuits here at home, Apuron has settled in the state as Lujan’s office confirmed the former church leader has a valid California driver’s license and is listed as a registered voter in Solano County, California." It doesn't sound like he plans to come back to Guam anytime soon.

  6. Dear Anonymous at 2:23 pm,

But you did went to Junglewatch anyway because they were the only ones who claimed that Archbishop Apuron was hiding, and that is the story you go by.

You mentioned the Archbishop's appearance. Archbishop Apuron believes he is innocent. It is his name, character, and reputation that is at stake. How did you expect him to look like? If YOU lost your position and your name and reputation is damaged, I doubt you would look the same. But of couse, that never occurred to you. You prefer to swallow the rumors of the jungle.

My husband met a man who came to Guam and decided to get a Guam driver's license despite that his stay here is temporary. Why? He learned that the locals here have a better deal than the tourists and other visitors, who are charged higher prices.

    1. Diana, you stated Apuron will come back vindicated and will sue everybody for defamation at court. Do you mean all the 50+ people who claim abuse? It is increasing every day. You cannot be serious.

    2. But did the man your husband meet also REGISTER as a voter in one of the villages here on Guam the way Archbishop Apuron REGISTERED as a voter in SOLANO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA???

    3. Dear Anonymous at 3:18 pm,

My husband did not ask him whether he registered as a voter. Therefore, we do not know. Because he will be here for the next few years, he can register if he wants.

    4. Dear Anonymous at 3:14 pm,

First of all, the protesters have dwindled down to approximately 50 people. Mrs. Klitzkie was heard begging the members of CCOG and LFM to remain steadfast and to ask their families, friends, and even neighbors to join the picket line.

Secondly, I never said that Archbishop will return vindicated. I do not know the outcome of the canonical trial. I stated....if Archbishop Apuron is found not guilty, then his next step would be to bring a libel and defamation lawsuit against all his accusers, most especially the main ones. That is what I have heard.

      Delete
    5. Hmmm, the "main ones". This is a change. Not everyone anymore... Tim will be happy to be sued though.

    6. Diana @ 4:24 PM are you saying that Archbishop Apuron registered as a voter in Solano County, California because like the man your husband met the Archbishop will be in California "for the next few years?"
Interesting thought. I really thought he'd be back sooner than later.
