The Annual Christmas Concert

It was the seminary's 12th Christmas concert.  The seminarians sang Christmas songs, and the songs were sung in different languages.  The beautiful part of the concert was when the RMS priests and communities joined them when they sang "Silent Night" in different languages around the world.

The nativity scene played by the kids was great!  It was enjoyable to watch the kids dressed as the Holy Family, the angels, the shepherds, and the three kings. This year's Christmas concert was packed with people.  There were more people this year.  There was also a silent auction.  The most expensive item I saw there was a bench made and carved with ifit wood.  I saw a couple of people sitting on it. The item was being sold for $750.  I did not think anyone would purchase it. But later as I browsed through the silent auction, one person did purchase it. Other people also purchased other items on the table.

    1. Did you even understand their singing or were you just pretending to understand the songs?

    2. Dear Anonymous at 1:51 pm,

I do not understand Italian, Polish, or any of the other foreign languages they sung, but I know the Christmas songs. I recognized the song "Silent Night" even when they sang it in Polish.

  2. We are furious at whats happening at saint anthonys saint victor parish. We are told told we will no longer be allowed to venerate the images of the sacred heart and Immaculate heart of Jesus and Mary on the first friday devotions. whoever is in charge according to the people is too busy making his room bigger and making himself a private garage. please look into this. God is not sleeping. no shame.

    2. @4:09pm, please get your story straight. Maybe you can ask the finance council or parish ministers about what is happening AT SASVC. AS FAR as the 1st Friday devotion it was not stopped. Stop spreading rumors.

    3. LOL. 4:07 must be a neo with a grudge against Msgr Benavente
4:07 is using the usual RUMORS, HEARSAY & GOSSIP to spread their LIES.
      ROTFL

    4. Dear Anonymous at 8:29 am,

It would make more sense that 7:07 was a "non-neo". Why? Because they are too attached to their icons. After all, look at all the fuss the parishioners made over the statue of Guadalupe.

    5. Disagree Diana @ 8:48.
4:07 is only PRETENDING to be furious about icons but 10:18 pointed out that the devotions have not been stopped.
The rant about "whoever is in charge" "making his room bigger and making himself a private garage" is nothing more than RUMORS, HEARSAY & GOSSIP being spread by the neo 4:07.
Of course 4:07 will probably come back to say that he (or she) isn't a neo but that will be another LIE.

    6. "a "non-neo"....is....too attached to their icons"?

Really? How many of Kiko's icons do you have Diana? How much does Kiko make from the sale of his Icons? Do you feel "attached" to them?

  3. I recently discovered a video on youtube about 'Sacramentalized but not Evangelized", interestingly the speakers began speaking about the ALPHA program/ministry and about its Kerygmatic nature.
    https://youtu.be/W4cULzIFo7o
Cardinal Muller also spoke about this problem amongst catholic christians in his lectio Magistralis on the release of Kikos new book.

  4. The enemies of NCW use threatening by lawsuits as a was of cursing. They feel themselves so good and confident in their skin that they curse others by trying to drag them into court. This is an amazing level of complacency! They assume the court is on their side. Wrong! The court is on the side of law and justice. Law and justice protect NCW from anti0church activity. Plain and simple. The enemies won't ever move on their threats on more lawsuits because they are afraid of losing! Lol, yeah! Just wait to see, nothing like that will ever happen! They are not so fool (at least at this moment) that they would jeopardize their integrity by blowing hot air into the court system for nothing.

Like how Fr Edivaldo said, in a May press release, to file a lawsuit against Tim?

This is quite an entertaining site.

    2. Fr. Edivaldo protected the Catholic church's interest from wild accusations. His action is justified. However, cursing your fellow Catholic sisters and brothers by shaking your fist that you'll sue their pants and skirts off of them is plain arrogance and empty bluff. Somebody is unable to see the distinction between justified protection of the church and fist shaking arrogance because of lack of your education. How long are you going to support a tummy heavy prophet who feeds you with nonsense just because he cannot bear to see as he is going out of fashion?! Now and forever.

You told me to ignore it. You did not say not to publish it. Besides what is wrong with finally realizing that the bench turned out to be an incredible bargain?

    1. Dear Anonymous at 2:36 am,

Let us not forget that you also pay for every streetlight and traffic light on this island, which is far more numerous than what you see at the seminary.

  11. Omg the post is about the concert but instead of seeing the positives of this gathering, some of you are so focused on where money is going, the justification for lawsuits, and judging others. For what?
