Archdiocese Questioning Bill 326

According to KUAM news:
Senator Frank Aguon, Jr. is questioning the church's sudden interest in Bill 326. If you recall, the controversial legislation was introduced after several allegations of molestation were made against clergy. Although three public hearings were held, Aguon recently received a Freedom of Information Act request from Attorney John Terlaje who represents the Archdiocese of Agana.
Although his office is complying with the FOIA, he states, "I have to wonder where were these concerns during the legislative process."
As of today, 12 civil suits have been filed against the church for child sex abuse.
Archbishop Byrnes is going to discover that the "Silent No More" group only collected about 3000 signatures to get the bill introduced while about 5000 signatures were submitted to try and convince Governor Calvo to veto the bill. He will discover that the Junglewatch Nation (which consist of Silent No More, CCOG, and LFM) were the ones pushing for the passage of the bill into law.  Only Dr. Zoltan Szkeley (a member of the Neocatechumenal Way) spoke in opposition of the bill at the public hearing.  Archbishop Hon did not even bother to do his research on the bill until it was passed by the Guam Legislature.  He was more focused on removing Archbishop Apuron that he did not realize the impact the bill would have until he was in Rome. Then, he started scrambling in Rome, telling Father Jeff to send a message to all priests to have his letter read at the pulpit and have the Catholic faithful sign a petition in opposition to the bill in the hopes of getting Governor Calvo to veto it.

And of course, we all know the rest of the drama. Father Jeff relayed Archbishop Hon's message to his fellow priests while entertaining the very same people who pushed for the passage of the bill.  Pale Mike Crisostomo, on the other hand, decided not to read Hon's message and did not put out the petition for his parishioners to sign.

One of the things that Archbishop Byrnes will find in the oral testimonies given at the public hearing is the NUMBER OF TIMES the name "Archbishop Apuron" was mentioned.  As a matter of fact, Tim Rohr also testified at the public hearing.  His testimony was only two pages long, but he mentioned Archbishop Apuron's name 11 times.  Therefore, this bill was mainly passed to target him and only him.  It was the same with the sex abuse ads that Tim Rohr and CCOG placed in the newspaper.  It mainly targeted Archbishop Apuron and only Archbishop Apuron.

  1. ''WHY'' DOES TIM ROHR HATE ARCHBISHOP APURON SO MUCH????????????? TO TURN ALL THOSE PEOPLE AGAINST HIM, AND THE CHURCH

    1. That you think Tim hates Archbishop Apuron speaks to your heart more than Tim's. And if you have been even paying attention, nobody has turned away from the Church because Tim or anyone has exposed sexual abuse. If anyone has turned away, the responsibility is on the clergy who did the abusing.

Otherwise, why do you hate victims of sexual abuse?

    2. I have no doubt that Rohr would push Archbishop Apuron off the rock with a devilish laugh if they were the only two up there and nobody seeing. You cannot hide your jealousy, fury and murderous hatred behind shameless hypocrisy against your brother who happens to be the Archbishop.

    3. Dear Anonymous at 9:26 am,

One reason why many who opposed the bill did not come out was the intimidation and unfair labeling. I do not hate the victims nor support child abusers, but those who oppose the bill were labeled as such. I think child abusers should be punished, but not the institution they work in.

    4. When the institutions shuffle and hide abusive clergy to avoid discovery, they are no better than the abuser. Your argument that the institution is not liable holds no precedent in the US court of law.

    5. Dear Anonymous at 3:20 pm,

It was not the institution that transferred priests. The bishops did that and should be held liable, not the institution. All you are doing is making more innocent people suffer.

    6. The Church covered up, and allowed the abuse to continue, killing the souls of millions of our children. Therefore the Church has to pay reparation. It worked in Boston.

    7. Dear Anonymous at 8:39 am,

No. It was Archbishop Flores who covered up the sexual abuse of Father Louis Bolliard by sending him off-island. Let us get that straight.

  3. Through his baptism Tim was inspired by God to rebuild the church on Guam returning it to the authentic faith.
slowly thousands of others came to see flaws in Apuronology. Inspired by the great reformers of the church John of Cross st. Theresa humble men women joined together to throw out Apuron.
    It was inspired by God.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 9:31 AM,

I never saw thousands at the picket line. At the most, there were approximately 70 people.

    4. Anonymous December 14, 2016 at 9:31 AM claim to be inspired by God is
blasphemous. They can bring 70 or so individuals to protest but the NCW can bring 10 times as much if called. We do not have a lawyer who by history will represent even the devil if the price is right. We have the spirit of the one who died for the brother; not the one who persecuted the brother.

    5. Question is, who inspired Tim to use foul language, cinicism, going as low as to team up with Mr. Toves and the enemy of holy mother Church SNAP... definitely not the Holy Spirit.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 11:41 am,

Apuron is still the Archbishop of Agana. He has not been removed. It was the sexual allegations that removed his authority and put him on a leave of absence.

    2. Diana, he may still be the bishop in title, but he has ZERO authority. So, it's as though he's NOT the archbishop! What authority does he have over this archdiocese?

    3. Dear Anonymous at 9:55 pm,

Pope Francis allowed Apuron to keep the title in the event that he is found innocent in the canonical trial. If that happens, then he returns to Guam with full authority.

  5. The bill spells out conspiracy and unconstitutional. This Bill aims directly solely to the Catholic Church on Guam! Not the protestant Church nor the public school but the Catholic Church. The Governor,Respicio and Frank Blas were the pilot on this bill and Orchestrated by Tim Rohr,Klitzkie,Joseph Santos and the LFM and the rest of CCOG. I smell the big E here.

    3. Yes, many people easily fall for Tim Rohr's words. He is very skillful and deceiving with words. His Father, whose command he shamelessly carries on earth to Guam people, is the evil one who has been a liar and deceiver from the beginning.
