God Always Calls For Unity And Reconciliation

Like all things on Earth, everything has a beginning and an end.  It has been over a year since Father Paul has placed his case in Rome. Yet, God still calls for reconciliation. So, let us pray for unity rather than division.  Let us pray for reconciliation rather than conflict.  Only God can bring unity and reconciliation.  So, we wait for Him. We keep up our hope and continue to pray.  Prayers are very powerful.  God is with all who hope and pray and trust in Him.  God always favor unity and reconciliation.  So, let us trust in God's power and strength rather than our own.

    1. Dear Isaias,

The victims can be a matter of perspective. You say that Father Paul was the victim because he was ousted from his parish, but then one has to look at the reason he was ousted? He was removed because he was disobedient. And now the case is being brought forth to Rome.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 9:04 pm,

And how will the other side respond? Will they accept his call for unity and reconciliation or will they record his every word and then publicize it in the jungle to be mocked??

So what, he shouldn't try then? .........Anonymous....there is no hope in a person reconciling with another without reconciling with God first. Try as hard as you can.....we can't. In him, all things are possible.

  4. The Archbishop IS calling for unity. As far as I can tell he doesn't post insulting posts on blog, nor does he chide and deride anyone who may be against him. The problem is not Anthony Apuron, the problem is much deeper. The problem lies in the heart of the 'jungle', those people who are ruled by their passions and refute all reasons and even deny the magisterium. They are fired up with pure hatred against the successor of the apostle who is our archbishop. Can we really have unity when the 'jungle folks' are crying out with venomous hatred?

    1. Dear Anonymous at 7:46 am,

When the Archbishop realize he did something wrong by saying something negative about Father Paul, he called Father Paul and apologized to him. Apologizing and asking for forgiveness is a first step toward unity and reconciliation.

    1. Dear Anonymous at 12:43 pm,

What do you mean that the Archbishop CONTINUE to PUBLICLY accuse Father Paul and Monsignor James of disobedience??? The Archbishop has remained silent when it comes to those two.

  7. Diana, it is not enough to say 'sorry'. There has to be some restorative justice that needs to be done to Father's Paul and James. Restorative justice looks like this " reinstate them to their positions because they are the victims of abuse of power and due process as stipulated in Canon Law.

    1. Dear Isaias,

Saying "I am sorry" is the FIRST step toward unity and reconciliation. It has to start somewhere.

  8. I think you all should follow "Catholic Apolos" on facebook its a "public" page so you are free to view at anytime.
I found it interesting to follow not because of the content, because 99% of it is actually posted by our brothers and sisters who are glued to the Tridentine Rite , which is not my cup of tea. I follow just so that I can understand more about what influences the hatred on junglewatch. More so, I am intrigued by Mr. Rorhs constant ignorance of Pope Francis. He recently said, WT__! in regards to Pope Francis' comments about Judas. I copied below...

"Hang on to your Catholic shorts. As the saying goes: "Houston,..."
"“... Judas was not the one who sinned the most: I don’t know who sinned the most… Judas, poor man, is the one who closed himself to love and that is why he became a traitor. And they all ran away during the difficult time of the Passion and left Jesus alone. They are all sinners...." - Pope Francis
    WT__!"

and on another post he had this to say...

"It's not the cardinals saying crazy things that's the problem. The problem is that the pope is permitting them to say those things in his presence and he is calling it healthy dialogue."

So you see, like he says, "Stays out of the jungle!" It is not worth it and there is no hope for dialogue. That blog is all a joke and lost all its morality especially with their recent recruit, Mr. Toves. The "archbishop money dance" video should have been a clear sign to Tim that things are a bit loose in that brain.

    1. True, I also have seen that Mr. Rohr is not big on manners. However, as regards the synod and the role of the Pope in it, there was cause for confusion for many Catholics. I found a very good article on this topic, which sheds light on a number of issues; it is titled, "The Pope is not the problem":

    1. Dear Anonymous at 8:08 am,

Of course the Archbishop cares for all the Catholic flock. He has visited all the Catholic schools, and is currently visiting all the parishes. I also know that many of the regular Catholics care about the Archbishop. There is only a very FEW who do not.

    2. Diana - Hate to burst your bubble, but if you took a poll today of regular Catholics who care about Archbishop Apuron, there will be only a few who do.

    3. Dear Anonymous at 1:09 pm,

In the jungle, they encouraged their followers to tie a white ribbon on their car to show that they oppose the Archbishop. I have driven down Marine Drive so many times, and I have not yet seen one white ribbon on a car.

Does the Archbishop care for the flock who were not called, i.e. the regular Catholics?...

The flock is fine.....it is the lost sheep....the lost....who are in crisis. Affirms the Churches mission to be missionary. Sometimes though, the flock feels unattended, unrecognized.....crying out.....take care of me.....me. How can we grow in faith....in love if everything is about me.....me.

    2. Dear Anonymous at 10:40 am,

We always pray for the Archbishop as well as for the Pope, and they are both sinners. I heard that some of the jungle followers are now call Tim "Tim Rohr the Rock." Since when did he become the "Rock?" He is not even a Bishop. The Bishops of the Church and the Pope are the ones we are supposed to follow.

  11. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying, "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock? "You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.…
