Did that ever occur to you guys? Since when is the opinion of a non-NCW member of the congregation weigh MORE or LESS than that of a person in the NCW? I don't know where all these rumors started about the Way wanting to get rid of all the non-neo priests by reason of non-conformity to the Way. No one is expecting the whole island to join the NCW. So why are there people that want to get rid of it? Why does it have to be one or the other? There are some people in the Church that feel that they need the NCW to deepen their relationship with Christ. Can we leave it at that? Can they please just have that?! Good for them! If you don't need the Way, that's fine too! Great for you!

And seriously, people, can we leave out all the name-bashing? Can we NOT attack the integrity of individuals let alone by name?

The bottom line is there are people that have a problem with the Way. OK fine. We are all entitled to our opinions. But can we leave them as that? No more ACCUSATIONS here? We are acting as though our words and actions have no consequences. We all need to just take a good look at what we are doing to each other. Stop throwing stones already! It's SUNDAY, go out and enjoy it!

Instead of pointing fingers at each other as to who is causing all this division in the church, let's all be mature about this and move on. And he did not shelter any neo pedophile priests. In our society, a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The person whom Father Paul was sheltering is a convicted sex offender. Father John was never arrested nor convicted, so he is not in the same category as the convicted sex offender whom Father Paul was sheltering. I'm pretty sure they put everyone else before those who are walking. They do the masses throughout the day and still make time for those who are walking in the Way...even when they are extremely exhausted. Why do they do this? Because Jesus Christ teaches us to serve the other even when it is most difficult.

Love when it is difficult to love the other. Forgive when it is difficult to forgive the other. Diana just showed how Rome, through the popes, bishops, cardinals, and other priests support the NCW. Mismanaged finances occurred during a monsignor's watch as shown by audit findings. Nothing will appease the lynch mob, except for the archbishop's removal. If only these brothers were as vocal and passionate about the real dangers facing our Church--abortion, divorce, or catholics being killed in the middle east. The list goes on. From the seminary we get priests. Through the work of the priests we can help the church to grow. If they want to eliminate the seminary, then they are destroying the very work of God. It has nothing to do with NCW and everything to do with finances, the seminary transaction (told you my family had connections), mistreatment of priests, violations of the GRIM. And so much more. The Nuncio sent his list to Rome along with evidence and letters. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
